TRAKKER RANGE

The Trakker 4x4 & 6x6 are rugged trucks purpose-built for tough off road applications. Boasting the traction of a 4x4 or 6x6 driveline with Iveco elliptic or cantilever suspension along with the well regarded Iveco Cursor 8 & 13  360 to 450hp engines allows the Iveco Trakkers to make light work of the toughest conditions.

The Trakker range is equipped with differential locks & hub reduction on all axles & is capable of hauling large loads from 19 to 33 tonne GVM and 44 to 50 tonne GCM.
The Trakker is also optioned with the ZF 16 speed manual or ZF Eurotronic II 16-speed automated transmission which provides easy stress-free driving allowing the operator the freedom to concentrate on the road conditions.

Trakker 4X4
The Trakker 4x4 is powered by an Iveco Cursor 8 360hp 7.79 litre 4 stroke 6 cylinder in line diesel engine with intercooler - direct injection – variable geometry turbo - overhead camshaft & 4 valves per cylinder producing 1500Nm/1106 lb/ft of torque at 1100 to 1700rpm. 

Paired to the Cursor 8 engine is ZF’s 16 speed 1620TD manual transmission with Iveco’s 32180 transfer case.
Boasting 19 tonne GVM & 44 tonne GCM the Trakker 4x4 has all the credentials to negotiate the most demanding jobs.

Trakker 6x6
The Trakker 6x6 is powered by an Iveco Cursor 13 12.9 litre 6 cylinder turbo charged engine with 450hp and 1620lb/ft.

To meet the current Euro 5/ADR 80-03 emission standards the Cursor 13 engine is fitted with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology which reduces the level of toxic gases emitted from the engine, but also improves fuel consumption and increases the efficiency of the engine.

Paired to the Cursor 13 engine is the ZF Eurotronic II automated 16 speed transmission which has an electronically controlled clutch engagement.
While driving in automated mode the Eurotronic transmission automatically selects the most ideal gearshift according to load, road speed, road incline, etc with the transmission also providing the operator with the flexibility to manually select gears should the application and track conditions require this.  
Manual gear engagement is quite simple via a touch on the gear selector.

Cab Equipment
The Trakker cab is known for its superior ergonomics and high levels of comfort adopting many of the features and equipment seen in Iveco's road going models.  The well specified cabins work to lessen the impact on the driver and passenger’s particularly after long periods driving in tough terrain.

Interior incorporating:

  • Heated air suspended 9 -way adjustable driver's seat, trimmed in fabric with a microfiber centre section, incorporating pneumatically adjustable lumbar support, and inertia reel belt, seatbelt warning.
  • Soft feel dashboard and multi-functional steering wheel incorporating touch button menu controls for the real time digital display, Dual scale speedometer along with all gauge functions monitored using international symbols.
  • Pneumatically adjustable steering column steering column, 2 column mounted control stalks, left stalk operating the indicators, main beam, windscreen wash wipe, right stalk operating engine brake, cruise control and variable speed limiter.
  • PTO switch with pre-wired expansion module.

Trakker 4x4

The Iveco Trakker 4x4 is a genuine off road vehicle with full 4x4 lock up boasting Crosslocks/Difflocks & hub reduction rear axles along with ladder type construction, pressed steel side members, riveted & bolted cross members with 304.4 x 80 x 7.7mm C section chassis rails with EEV rating (OBD 2).
The Iveco Trakker 4x4 is fitted with parabolic leaf front springs (8000kg) & Semi – elliptic leaf (13000kg) capacity rear axles along with anti roll bars and shock absorbers on both the front & rear suspension which gives it a wide array of off road applications.

Trakker 6x6

The Iveco Trakker 6x6 is a genuine off road vehicle with permanent all wheel drive to all axles.
The Trakker is fitted with parabolic leaf springs, anti roll bars and shock absorbers on the front suspension, while the rear suspension is an Iveco Cantilever setup - it's a powerful combination that strikes the right balance between vehicle articulation, load carrying ability and comfort.

The Cantilever suspension encompasses a reinforced anti-roll bar and shock absorbers ensuring a smooth ride over the roughest terrain.
The front suspension has a load capacity of 9000kg along with the rear suspension capacity of 26000kg giving the 6x6 strength to handle extremely heavy loads over tough conditions.

The Trakker 6x6 has a strong high tensile steel chassis - type: 309 x 80 x 10mm double joggle medium-tensile steel channel which is completely flat and free from obstructions making it easy to work with for any body builder and allowing fitment of a wide array of body types.
